In this video we are going to show you how add new document templates. Document Templates are standard documents that you require in your process.
Once you have logged into your NowWeComply account, select admin, Document Templates and then add a new template.
Start by naming your document
Next choose what interaction is required from the Target by selecting from the drop down menu. Does the document need to be viewed or signed?
Review required is where you can select whether your System Administrator must check that the document has been viewed or signed. It is good practice to select yes if a document is to be signed so that the system user can check that this has actually been done.
Select your Header/Footer from the drop down menu. You can create and insert a new one later if necessary.
If you have an existing document you can copy and paste from Word into document content field by clicking this icon. If you don't have an existing document simply start typing directly into the Editor.
In order to personalise your document you can insert merge fields for name, company name, address, etc. These fields are the ones you created in your Target Groups.
Click this icon and select your Target Type, Target Group then required Standard or Custom Field. Please note that these fields will only merge if you have entered data into them when adding individual Targets.
You will only have to create this document once and it will be accessible across the site.
The signature block only applies if you are using the online signing feature. It allows you to add further fields for completion at the signing stage.
In the name field enter the information you require, for this example we will use date. From the drop down menu select the Type of field required – again we will use date. Click add another to enable this field.
Once you have completed your document, click Preview to check the layout. (Remember if either your Header or Footer aren’t showing click Save then go to View/Edit Existing Headers/Footers and adjust the Header/Footer Heights as necessary)
Click Save
